I’m totally guilty of heading to London again for another no-agenda trip. I just love the Underground so much that I will literally location hop just because I can. Like, how perfect? If I lived here, driving really wouldn’t be necessary. And well, let’s just say I’m not the best of drivers so that’s totally a perfect match.

I’ve had this top for a few months now and I’ve worn it a couple times, just not on the blog! I used to be obsessed with houndstooth in 9th grade and had sworn off of it ever since until I saw this shirt. It looks good with pants, skirts, and shorts so it’s definitely a proud piece in my wardrobe. Versatility is something I strive for with my closet and this can be worn dressed up or down so its functionality is most certainly up there.

As much as I love my AA circle skirts, I’m so ready to go home and bask in my other wardrobe options. This skirt is an easy way out just because it’s so easy to pair anything with and I’m generally just tired of it for now. We’ll see how I feel about it when I get back home, though (which is next week Monday! Wooooo!)…I’ll probably fall in love with it all over again, haha.

Sorry for my angry faces…can’t control my eyebrows in public situations. Hahahaha.

As I am still in the UK for a couple weeks longer, I decided to spend another day in London. I needed to pick up some things from school, but I also checked out the weather for the week and saw that Friday would be the best time to go. It was a perfect 65 degrees out and I spent a few hours drawing in a park, peopl watching and just sitting in the sun.

I wanted to go out that night with my friend Zoe, but still needed to pack minimally so I chose an outfit that would work just as well in the day as it would in the evening. I love this Topshop crop top that I bought about two or three sizes too big. The stripes reminded me of shirts my sisters wore back when they were in high school and I’m a sucker for nostalgia so I couldn’t resist.

You’ve seen me wear the shorts in a bit of a “sweeter” outfit here. The shoes are new from ASOS and I love their toughness. The treading on the shoe is my favorite part. They’re like a boot/sandal combo! So cool.

So happy my hair is finally getting long again! This time next year when I’m finishing school (fake life) I can’t wait to see how long it’ll be. Hopefully I’ll be prepping to live in London then, too!

I can’t believe it, but it’s already been 17 weeks since I first arrived to London. As of now, I’m staying in my aunt’s flat in Birmingham which is only a couple of hours away, but it already feels like the magic that is London is done. It took me a little while to acclimate, but I fell entirely in love with London and now I’m thinking about what I have to do to live here after I graduate….ahh! Real life growing up. It’s happening.

Anyway, my lovely friend Regina Puno took these photos for me. It was one of the first of a few sunny days in London, though might I add it hailed right before this. The weather here is officially more bipolar than New England weather, haha.

I got these new laces on my Docs which I absolutely love. I never thought about the difference that laces could make in an outfit but I think they pull this all together and break a sea of black….right? I found this jacket in a Barcelona flea market and fell in love. It’s a little short on my long arms, haha, but there’s something about that awkwardness that I enjoy.

So for now, I miss home but when I’ll be in the US, I’ll be missing London so much! Can’t wait to come back :)
